Tony and Barbara Holden - welcome to our site
We have been writing a monthly blog for some time. It includes photos, drawings, poems and our comments.
We wanted to register how much has changed for us during that time.
In brief we have been in our own home rather than a church one, since 1999. We are long retired. We’ve moved from our house of 25 years in Staples Road to this ground floor flat with its lovely garden in August 2024 also in Loughton. We struggle, as so many do, with age and health issues.
We continue, as best we can, with our lifetime commitments. Much is difficult, but we keep going and we hope and pray for peace and justice in our violent and threatened world. Our interdependence and connectedness is diverse, complex and
beyond imagining. It is utterly central to us being human. To us this is a true fact. The choice is about people cooperating and being kind, caring, compassionate or being competitive and violent.
